SAFTI FIRST® recently donated 50 fully assembled mountain bikes to the University of California in Merced.  This contribution supports student transportation and health while promoting sustainable practices during May’s National Bike Month.

The United States Patent and Trademark Office has officially awarded US Patent Number 11,479,504 to SuperClear® 45-HS (hose stream) and SuperClear® 45-HS-LI (hose stream, low-iron), with additional patents pending.

In a summary judgement dated February 3, 2021, Chief Magistrate Joseph C. Spero of the United States District Court for the Northern District of California ruled that the patent infringement claims filed by Ely Holdings Limited (Ely) and Greenlite Glass Systems (Greenlite) against SAFTI FIRST, a USA fire rated glass and framing manufacturer, could not proceed to trial, finding that the SAFTI FIRST’s fire resistant floor does not violate Ely’s patent.

SAFTI FIRST, leading USA-manufacturer of advanced fire rated glass and framing systems, is pleased to offer new, larger sizes for its advanced fire resistive glazing products. SuperLite® II-XLB 60 has successfully passed ASTM E-119/UL 263/ULC S101 testing and is listed by Underwriters Laboratories (UL) with a maximum clear view area of 10,000 sq. inches (125 inch maximum clear view width or height) in both fully captured and butt-glazed wall applications. This makes SuperLite® II-XLB 60 the largest fire resistive glazing product available in the market today.
